ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS PROJECT (2007 - present)

• A series of environmental-education seminars were produced by Standard Fruit Co. and El Porvenir's municipality

• Student reps from area high schools take the training and then return to instruct their classmates

• Elementary-school students receive a puppet skit during the Healthy-Living education program
